At the moment am loving the bread rolls by Purebred. Smothered with butter and loaded with ham leftovers from a pre-Chrissy celebration, they are awesome – soft, tasty and light!

 

The ham – according to the Swansea street butchers where I purchased our 9 kilo monster, is made from the female pig and smoked by an old Czechoslovakian guy who does it the proper way – hubby basted it and added pineapple rings. The kids at the party kept sneaking pieces like it was lollies and one lady kept saying how terrible it was that bits kept falling off into her hand… It didn’t take any convincing for hubby to bring home the leftovers.  I know he prayed long and hard that the bulk of it would be coming home with us!
